Working principle of laser beauty instrument


In 1983, Anderson RR and Parrish JA proposed the theory of selective photothermal action - the "photothermal separation" theory, which means selecting appropriate wavelengths, energies, and pulse durations based on the biological characteristics of different tissues to ensure effective treatment of diseased tissues while minimizing damage to surrounding normal tissues.

The three effects of light on tissues:

1. Photothermal effect:

The photothermal effect can be divided into thermal effect, thermal solidification, and thermal stripping. Thermal effect: When the temperature rises to a certain level of about 60 ℃ -65 ℃, the collagen fibers can contract to one-third of their original length and the diameter of the collagen increases, without affecting the integrity of the corresponding tissue structure; Thermal coagulation: When the temperature is above 75 ℃ and the time is long enough, it can cause tissue thermal coagulation. A certain amount of dispersed thermal coagulation can bring long-lasting and significant skin reconstruction effects; Heat stripping: When the temperature is greater than 300 ℃ and the time is sufficient, heat causes tissue vaporization, combustion, molecular lysis, and plasma formation, leading to tissue trauma formation.

2. Photodynamic response

A method of effectively treating or improving the lesion site (target tissue) by irradiating tissue with light and causing one or a series of chemical reactions within the tissue.
